• > Hello! My name is Mac Wilkerson. I’m a graphic designer who likes to approach design with an eager, open mindset. I treat every project as a chance to learn something new, explore a different angle, or connect unusual ideas. I’m drawn to mid-century styles, with a particular love for retro type, and I enjoy reworking old design styles in ways that feel fresh. I like to bring this mix of curiosity and nostalgia into the film or music world with logos, campaign visuals, packaging, and motion work.

  • LAST SUMMER IN THE CITY

                     > Film Promotion Campaign> Typeface Design> 2025
    > Last Summer in the City is a conceptual film promotion project based on Gianfranco Calligarich’s novel. I developed a visual identity for a hypothetical adaptation that would engage a new generation of viewers. Centered around a custom typeface, the system extends across the title sequence, poster, and DVD packaging. It uses typography as the foundation for mood, tone, and storytelling.

  • NIKE AIR MAX DAY

     > Campaign Identity> 2025
    > Air Max Day 2027 is a campaign concept celebrating Nike’s iconic Air Max line and its evolving cultural legacy. Centered on the message “The Future is in the Air,” the campaign explores the tension between nostalgia and innovation. It blends retro Nike aesthetics with glitch-inspired visuals that symbolize the future. I designed the campaign logo, billboards, posters, website banner, and merchandise for both physical and digital environments.

  • AILIBI GAME

    > Packaging + Game Design> 2025
    > Alibi is a dinner-party board game that transforms dining into storytelling. Instead of being served food, players are served evidence through menus that double as deduction boards and a deck of clue cards disguised as food items. Through Alibi, I explored how game mechanics, narrative design, and packaging can merge within a visual language that balances playful surrealism with structural typography.

  • MAISON GIFFARD

    > Brand Identity + Package Design> 2025
    > Maison Giffard is a packaging and brand identity project for a boutique cocktail syrup company. I reimagined the brand through a new visual system spanning bottle labels, a three-unit package, and a mixologist guide. Centered around a refined logo, custom typography, and a warm, expressive color palette, the system balances sophistication with approachability. The project explores how branding and packaging can tell a story, using visual systems and shape language to build narrative beyond the label.

  • AMPLIFIED

    > Publication Design> 2025
    > Amplified is a brochure that celebrates Mick Rock’s legacy and influence on rock photography. Inspired by his bold, unfiltered style, the design uses a black-and-white palette and a diagonal, geometric layout to echo the energy of 1970s rock culture. Through this project, I learned how to structure a brochure around a clear visual pattern while still finding ways to challenge and break that pattern to keep the design engaging.

  • POLO NOIR

    > Brand Identity + Package Design> 2025
    > Polo Noir is a conceptual playing card and packaging project inspired by early 20th-century Italian Futurism. I developed a monochromatic visual system that reimagines traditional suits, face cards, and iconography through fractured forms and dynamic composition. The deck uses abstraction and geometry to tell a narrative centered on equestrian culture and motion, while maintaining clarity and usability. The project explores how illustration, typography, and packaging can work together to build a cohesive and atmospheric project.
